VVICTOR ENTERTAINMENT and HAKUHODO RECORDS ,the Creative team of HAKUHODO are now collaborating through "CHIKYU RECORDS", a new label created within VICTOR ENTERTAINMENT by both companies.
Music being the most popular media with its capacity to touch people widely, CHIKYU RECORDS is a has been founded with a spirit of putting forward through music the environnemental issues and other social problems and thus help in bringing awareness to the public. CHIKYU RECORDS is full fledged brand, that provides what they call “ECO MUSIC”, goods and also sets up actions related to the environnement and the society, . Thus, through all kinds of collaboration with companies or creators, CHIKYU RECORDS develops not only products , or produces commercials thema songs, but it also puts up events and shows.
The first launch of CHIKYU RECORDS as a label, was at the "ECO JAPAN CUP 2007", the 18th of june.
During the process of production, the label was very cautious to use “green” electricity and recyclable materials to make CD packages and promotion materials. CHIKYU RECORDS is the first label to openly take concrete action and extend to the music industry initiatives against of global warming.

The 16th of April Universal Music Japan has launched on Youtube: "UNIVERSAL MUSIC Official Video Channel".This channel provides a place where the audience will enjoy waching Videos of Universal Music Japan artists.
The launch of that new channel has started with the broadcasting of the Full Version Video of "ODORE", the new single of Micro due to be released on May 21st.The same day, the Video of GReeeeN, mihimaruGT, ET-KING, TERIYAKI BOYZ, RIZE and a lot of famous Japanese artists were also available online.
